- Plant foods. Eat more of them
Not only do they provide so many essential nutrients and minerals that we need to thrive, consuming more of them has a positive impact on the environment.
- Movement in the morning
I love working out or moving my body in some sort of way in the morning. It gives me a boost of energy, endorphins, and sets me up mentally and physically for a productive day ahead!
- Establish a morning routine
Having routine, or specific rituals that you do every day, adds a factor of control and organisation to each day. Include things you enjoy, and things that benefit your day ahead. A few things I like to do include a morning coffee, nourishing breakfast & sunshine (weather permitting!!).
- Enough sleep & hydrate
You’ve heard it before, but getting enough sleep each night really impacts how you function. It allows your body to recharge, fight off diseases, and be refreshed and alert when you wake up. In terms of hydrate, 60% of our body is water. It is a vital component for our body to digest, absorb nutrients, get rid of waste products and regulate our body temp!
