Do Chai Latte's Contain Caffeine?

Traditionally, masala chai is enjoyed all around the world and made using black tea. Black tea does contain caffeine. It doesn't contain as much caffeine as coffee, but it is still a great beverage to drink in the morning or for a pick me up in the afternoon. We offer chai products that are caffeinated, preservative free, gluten free, non GMO, dairy free and seriously good.

Most modern chai latte’s that you find in the supermarket or at a cafe will contain black tea. Of course, there are options for those who are looking for a non-caffeinated chai latte. We offer a range of caffeine-free chai latte powders that don’t skip out on flavour. We use 100% natural spices to ensure each sip of your chai latte is bursting with flavour and aroma. A standard cup of Chai Lords chai will contain 20 and 100mg of caffeine. The amount of caffeine depends on your brew method. On the other hand, coffee contains over 120mg per cup!

Our Instant Chai Latte and Activated Turmeric Latte contain zero tea leaves. We utilise grounded up star anise, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cardamom, black pepper and pink Himalayan salt. For additional health benefits and sweetness, we have incorporated Certified Organic Panela Sugar. Panela sugar is pure, unrefined, whole cane sugar that is lightly processed to give you a more natural sweetener. It is rich in vitamins, nutrients, and minerals. Both blends are also completely vegan, gluten free, dairy free, preservative free and SERIOUSLY GOOD. You can also use these powders when baking to add additional flavour and health benefits. If you are after caffeinated chai, you must try our Loose Leaf Honey Chai and Loose Leaf Vegan Chai. Both blends include pure black tea and aromatic spices. You have the choice of Australian honey or luscious rice malt syrup. Or if you are after a more calming blend, we have our best-selling Instant Chai Latte and Activated Turmeric Latte. These are both powders, so all you do is add 1-2 teaspoons to a cup of warm milk, stir and enjoy.
